We do! Our Water Aerobics class is called Aqua Fit, and it is a free Group Fitness class provided by the gym with a gym membership or a day pass. Aqua Fit is a high-energy, low-impact water workout that’s easy on the joints and perfect for all fitness levels. Set to motivating music, this class blends cardio, strength, and flexibility training to improve endurance, enhance range of motion, and tone muscles—all in the support of the water. Experience the fun of movement that feels like play, while your body works in every direction. No swimming skills needed—just a willingness to move and make a splash!
Non-lesson pool access is limited to The Plex Athletic Club members during scheduled Family Swim. Member children over 7 can swim independently during family swim hours, with parents in the viewing area. Children 6 and under need an adult guardian within arm’s reach in the water. Teens 13 to 18 can use the pool with a The Plex Athletic Club membership.
Towels are available in the Aquatics Center and locker rooms for use after class.
We do not provide goggles to borrow; however, both kids’ and adults’ goggles are available for purchase if you need a last minute pair.
We also do not provide bags for storing wet swimwear after class, so please plan to bring your own.
If you are booking private lessons via the app and book more than 1 time slot for your child, you must submit a cancellation for the incorrectly booked class within 30 minutes of the original booking. Submitting a cancellation after the 30-minute period will result in you forfeiting half the cost of private lessons for that month.
If a student is registered after the session has begun, the class cost will be prorated from their start date.
Classes with only 1 Student: We reserve the right to cancel any class with only one student 24 hours before the session starts and reschedule that student to a different class.
Our privates swim lessons can start as young as 2 years old. However, participants must be able to follow instructions independently, sit and listen to the instructor, remain in the water without attempting to leave, and demonstrate readiness to participate without parental assistance. Please note that parents are not permitted in the water during lessons. If your child is not yet able to meet these expectations, we recommend waiting until they are a bit older before enrolling.
Adult swimmers may also book private lessons!
We do not pair students for semi-private lessons. Participants must register with a swimmer they know, such as a sibling, cousin, spouse, or friend. Swimmers should be of similar age and skill level to ensure a productive and balanced experience. For example, pairing a Level 1 swimmer with a Level 4 swimmer is not permitted, as it limits the instructor’s ability to effectively divide their attention and does not provide an optimal learning environment for either participant.
Both members and non-members are welcome to participate in semi-private lessons together. However, we ask that you contact the Aquatics Office prior to registration so that each swimmer can be charged the appropriate rate.
Absolutely! It’s never too late to learn how to swim!

Your swimmer may be paired with a different instructor for the makeup; there is no guarantee that they will be paired with their normal private instructor. This adjustment is made ensure that your swimmer receives the necessary attention and guidance they deserve. Our priority is always to support your swimmer’s growth and development in their aquatic skills.

Consistent class attendance is essential for natural and smooth learning. The more classes your swimmer attends, the better their progress. Enrollment and payment signify your commitment to the entire session. Refunds, credits, or substitutions for Group Lessons are not available.
Even if you are late, we encourage you to have your child join for the remaining class time. No refunds or credits are offered for missed classes.
Our classes are typically for 4 students to 1 instructor. At times, a 5th student may be in class for a make-up lesson.
Session cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the first Monday of the session. Requests must be in writing via cssj-aquatics@gotoplex.com. A $25 service charge applies to all cancellations without documentations. Requesting a refund within 48 hours of the session’s start or after it has begun prevents another swimmer from signing up for that spot.
